Binns Hearing at Apperley Bridge is ideally situated close to Bradford, Leeds and Harrogate in West Yorkshire. We have two consulting rooms fully equipped with state-of-the-art testing, fitting and verification equipment, including sound proof testing facilities. A computer-based audiometric system is also available to measure the performance of hearing aids while in your ear.
Other facilities include speech assessment, video otoscopy, which takes a photograph of your eardrum, if a medical referral is necessary. We specialise in providing hearing protection for industry, including West Yorkshire Police motorcyclists and dog handlers. We provide hearing protection to musicians with a range of noise reduction.
For people who’s leisure activities take them into environments where ear/hearing protection is required such as shooting & swimming, we are happy to discuss requirements and provide the necessary hearing protection, such as Emtec Noisebreakers and Swim plugs.
My career started as an NHS Audiologist at Dewsbury Hospital where I practised for 5 years before qualifying as a private hearing aid despenser and Student of the Year in 1997. I have trained in the USA on advanced fitting technology.
My father is Eddie Binns who founded the company, is a founder member of the AIHHP and was responsible for the formation of the society.
